Glenn Thigpen, Pastor
I was born and raised in Houston. I am a Texas A&M graduate and a former CPA. Called into pastoral ministry in 1996, we moved to Fort Worth where I attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and received my Masters in Divinity. I pastored a wonderful congregation at First Baptist Church of Palo Pinto, Texas, before coming to Northwest Hills in 2000. Over the past eight years it has been my joy to see our church grow under God’s leadership and prosper under his divine blessing. I wake up every morning thankful to be alive, thankful to have such a wonderful wife and children, and thankful to have the privilege of leading such an awesome church. The people of Northwest Hills Baptist Church are incredibly loving and giving. I go to bed every night anticipating the great things that await our church the next day, and in the days to come. God is good. My lovely wife, a dedicated prayer warrior and student of God’s word, as well as an awesome mom, teaches Kindergarten at Northwest Hills Christian School, where my youngest daughter is also in middle school. My oldest daughter is at Health Careers High School studying to be a pediatric nurse. She is preparing herself for a calling to medical missions to third world countries.

Tim Pope, Associate Pastor
My wife, Jennifer, and I have been at Northwest Hills since 2003. I graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor's Degree in Education and completed my Master's Degree in Christian Education from Southwestern Theological Seminary. I love hunting, fishing, cooking, and spending time with family. God is doing amazing things in and through our church. I hope that you will find your place here at our church. I look forward to meeting you and your family!

Reed Endel, Minister of Music
My wife, Hannah, and I came to Northwest Hills in March of 2011. In March of this year, we will welcome a new addition to our family. I graduated in December 2010 from New Orleans Baptist Seminary with a Master of Music in Church Music Degree, with a concentration in Choral Conducting. This is our first full-time opportunity for service, and it is a wonderful, inviting church that works to fulfill the Great Commandments of loving God with all our hearts, and loving our neighbor as ourselves. Prior to seminary, I was a middle school band director for 9 years in the public schools of Northeast Texas and North Arkansas. The verse I have claimed for my ministry is Psalm 150:6 – “Let everything that hast breath praise the Lord!”

I was born and raised on the southside of San Antonio. I have one grown daughter, Victoria (I'm gonna be a grandma in June 2012!!) I served for 3 years as the secretary at Shavano Baptist Church, before coming to Northwest Hills in 2003.  Thank you all for the opportunity to serve your church. I have truly found that peace that passes all understanding working with this GREAT staff and for this wonderful congregation.

Stephanie Rogers, Children's Ministry Director, MDO Director
I have lived most of my life here in San Antonio. My husband Kevin and I have been married for 15 years. We have three daughters Katie, Morgan and Caroline. I have been the Children's Ministry Director here, at NWHBC, since August 2006. I love working with children and watching them grow in their knowledge and love of Jesus.

Donna Beaver, Superintendent/Principal
In June of 2009, my husband and I moved to San Antonio from Scottsdale, Arizona in and couldn’t be happier about the move to Texas. My husband, Jim and I met at North Phoenix Baptist Church in the college group, and since then we have raised two beautiful girls. Our oldest daughter, Lauren, graduated from Baylor University and is currently working at a children’s hospital in Atlanta. Our youngest, Katie, just graduated from Baylor University with a BS in Elementary Education and is a kindergarten teacher at Northwest Hills Christian School. Before moving to San Antonio, I taught at Scottsdale Christian Academy and also established the Weekday Preschool program at North Phoenix Baptist Church. While attending Grand Canyon University, I received my Bachelor’s Degree and even played for the tennis team. I completed my Master's degree in Education: Administration and Supervision at the University of Phoenix. I have a passion for Christian education and God is doing some amazing things here at NWHCS. I am thrilled to be a part of the team at Northwest Hills!
