Young @ Heart
Our Senior Adult Ministry, Young at Heart, is designed as a time of fellowship and food combined with short trips to places of interest in and around San Antonio, It is composed of senior (and some not so senior) Adults who enjoy the company and fellowship of spending some time together. Our trips are on the 2nd Thursday of every month (see list below.) Everyone is welcome to attend.
January 12, 12:30pm: Brown Bag Lunch in the Fellowship Hall, coffee and tea, chips and dessert provided. (We are staying here just in case the January weather is unpleasant) What does “prophecy” really mean? Joe Craine will present a talk on prophecy and answer your questions.
February 9, 12:30pm: A Valentine Ice Cream Social (Fellowship Hall)
March 8: A visit to the 9/11 Memorial and Israeli Prayer Garden on Hwy 90, New Life Center.
Depart the Church at 9:30 am. Tour and speaker to guide us through the Memorial.
Lunch will be at the Cracker Barrel (410 and 151)
April 12: San Antonio Botanical Garden Depart the Church at 9:30 am
May 10: Blanco Lavender Farm Tour Depart the Church at 9:30 am
